Sadae Suzumura (4-1)
Masako Yoshida (16-18)
Yasuko Mogi (3-8)
Satomi Takano (2-1)
Megumi Sugimoto
Takumi Umehara (1-1)

The official match-ups will be announced in the coming weeks.

A huge kickboxing tournament is happening in Iowa over the weekend. The Muay Thai Classic will feature several different divisions and weights. Around 25 girls and over 100 women will compete in this epic tournament.

The event will be streaming all weekend. You can watch Friday or Saturday for $15 or both days for $25 by going to Parkway.tv/TBA.

We are declaring July “Future Stars” month on the website. Starting July 1, we will be profiling daily those fighters under the age of 18 who are training to be the best in their combat sports, be it in MMA, pankration, Muay Thai, BJJ, and wrestling.

In pro MMA action across the pond in Norwich, England, Catherine Costigan will take on Vanessa Rico. Costigan is returning to the cage after making a success debut two and a half years ago with a first round guillatoine over Vanessa Reinsch. The Spainard Rico is making her MMA debut.

At Jungle Fights in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Erica Paes is looking to keep her comeback going by facing Bethe Coirreia. Paes got a win in her return to MMA getting the triangle choke win over Gisele Maciel in April. Coirreia is on a five fight win streak with hear latest in only a few weeks ago over Juliete de Souza Silva.

  • In battle for a strawweight title, Nikki Smith faces Roya Darvishian at the Without Limits Brawl in Bethalto, IL.
  • At WCFL on Tampa, FL, Ingrid Medrano takes on Cheyanne Vilsmas.

In boxing, Yazmin Rivas will defend her IBF bantamweight title against Kimika Miyoshi in Mexico City, Mexico. Rivas is on a six fight win streak, while Miyoshi has a five fight win streak.
